This area is the 'walking capital of Exmoor'.

If you want to know more about walking generally in our area you may like to look at the 'Walkers are Welcome' section of the above website gives great suggestions for many of the fantastic walks in the local area.

Our favourite walks are the Lynmouth to Watersmeet Circular walk, recently made famous by Julia Bradbury and Kate Humble, and also the Hunters Inn to Woody Bay coastal loop walk (not listed).

The coastal walks in this local area are stunning with dramatic views of Wales and a stunning coast line.

The website for South West Coast Path has useful interactive map and walk finder search

We have several very local horse riding centres where you can enjoy the pleasure of riding on Exmoor with views of the sea.

Sparhanger Equestrian Centre based in Barbrook and Brendon Manor Riding Centre are both only a few miles away.

Cyclists are also catered for although it is very hilly so not for the faint-hearted.

For a less active pursuit try the 21 Mile Drive exploring Exmoor.
